Rescue Food Ministry

At each of the tracks with which the Indy Racing League competes there are a number of efforts that the IRL tries to do to bring a positive message to that community. The Rescue Food Ministry is one of those efforts. We gather leftover foods from within the paddock hospitality area. That is foods that have not been used at all. We distribute those foods to local shelters and missions to help feed the poor. We gather soap, shampoo and toiletries for those same local shelters and missions. Teams and officials bring their leftover soap and shampoo from their hotel to give towards this effort. IRL Ministry places containers at various locations within the paddock area to collect the items.
