At each of the tracks with which the Indy Racing League competes there are a number of efforts that the IRL tries to do to bring a positive message to that community. SOAP IS HOPE is one of those efforts. We gather soap, shampoo and toiletries for local shelters and missions. Many bring their leftover soap and shampoo from their hotel to give towards this effort. IRL Ministry partners with CARA Charities to accomplish this effort. Containers are placed at IRL Tech Inspection, the Media Center and the Chapel area so that as the IRL community enters the track they can dispense their kind deposit to help others. Last year we collected over 700 lbs to distribute to local shelters and missions near the tracks that we raced.
